Job summary
Ward Sister/Charge Nurse - Band 7
There is an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to manage Kent ward a 31 bed Neurology ward as a Band 7. The ward comprises of Tertiary Neurology, Head Injury and Level 1 Neuro- rehabilitation patients.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining an excellent nursing team that are committed to high clinical standards within a supportive environment.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic nurse who will be responsible for the day to day clinical and managerial leadership of the ward. The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi- disciplinary team. They will be highly motivated, possess sound clinical knowledge and be able to work well under pressure and an understanding of the specific neurology pathways.
