Job summary
To support and deputise for the Ward Manager and Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to ensure the provision of outstanding nursing care and the effective management of staff and other resources. To carry out the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the ward or department. To ensure that there are education and training opportunities for all staff, includingpre and post registration students. To act as a source of specialist information for staff, patients and visitors
Main duties of the job

Marnham ASHU is a 32 bedded ward which specialises in short term admission for acute senior health patients with an average length of stay of 10 days or less.
