Children's Occupational Therapist - Band 6

Fixed Term - 8 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated OT to join our well established and innovative Children's OT service that combines the traditional roles of both health and social services OTs. We are a dynamic, friendly and supportive team of OTs and OT Technical Instructors who have a wide range of skills and expertise. The service has a good reputation and we work closely with colleagues across Children's Services in Health, CAMHS, Education and Social Services. We have recently relocated to a modern purpose built Children's Development Centre promoting MDT working and shared working spaces.

Proposed Interview Date - 10th April 2026

Main duties of the job

You will be providing OT input to children with a wide range of disabilities working across a range of settings including; in their homes, nurseries, and respite placements within Croydon.

You will be delivering therapy at universal, targeted and specialists levels. Intervention will be a range of parent groups, coaching, monitoring and MDT working.

  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • Experience with equipment and adaptations
  • Additional training in neurovidersity related sensory needs
  • Attendance of paediatric courses post qualification
