We are looking to recruit a ST3+ Trust Doctor to join our Neonatal Unit here at Croydon University Hospital.
Maternity, Neonatal and Paediatric services are based at the Croydon University Hospital. The Rainbow Children Unit includes medical, oncology, critical care and day surgery beds. In addition, there is a dedicated Paediatric outpatient department and Paediatric phlebotomy service.
Our level 2 Neonatal Unit has 22 cots. This post provides an excellent opportunity for training in Neonatology. The annual delivery rate is around 4,000 deliveries.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will participate in a EWTD compliant full shift rota on the Middle grade rota.
Full support and training need will carefully monitored with the supervisor of the successful candidate. The appointee will participate in a EWTD compliant full shift rota on the Middle grade rota. The role will cover all aspects of acute inpatient care of neonates, attending deliveries of sick term & preterm infants on delivery suite and seeing unwell patients/neonates in the Emergency Department and resus when required.
