Job summary
The Croydon Respiratory team (CRT) is a multidisciplinary service, integrated across Croydon University Hospital and the Community. The service provided by CRT aims to improve outcomes for patients with COPD and Asthma.
CRT have been newly commissioned to deliver respiratory joint clinics and primary care education sessions to improve the care of patients with asthma and COPD.
The post holder will be integral to the smooth-running of the CRT joint clinics programme and will hold administrative responsibility for coordinating all referrals and liaising with GP surgeries re suitable dates for appropriate clinics ensuring capacity is used efficiently. They will also be responsible for liaising with the venues where the primary care education sessions are run to organise cost effective hire of suitable space.

The post-holder will be responsible for managing all referrals into the joint clinic programme, gathering data re referrals per GP surgery and liaising with primary care to arrange clinics ensuring clinician time is used efficiently. The post holder will be responsible for capturing all clinical data on the EMIS system and liaising with IT to gather relevant data each quarter. They will also be responsible for supporting the coordination and booking of the diabetes joint clinic service.
The post holders will also have a role in supporting other administrators within the team, providing cover for the structured education, core CRT, asthma and PR teams.
