0-19 years Safeguarding Administrator
Full Time - Permanent - Band 3
The 0-19 Safeguarding Administrator will take the lead for providing seamless, confidential support to the 0-19 Public Health Nursing (PHN) Team on all matter relating to safeguarding.
They will be based within the 0-19 universal children's administration hub but have a strong link to the Croydon Health Integrated Safeguarding Team to ensure continuity and act as a conduit between the two services, providing efficient support to PHN's. This will include administrative management of safeguarding processes, maintenance of accurate and up to date data systems, information sharing processes and effective team working.

Main duties of the job
- To be the key point of contact for all matters relating to 0-19 years safeguarding administrative activity.
- To provide support to assist communication between hospital and community staff regarding the 0 - 19 service users, this will entail using a combination of telephone, email, and postal communication systems.
- To work closely with the ED Health Visitor Liaison, disseminating patient ED Discharge Summaries/other sensitive documents as required for 0 - 19-year-olds, including processing of records and database as needed.
- To maintain administrative systems, including effective and up-to-date data filing, tracking systems and maintaining of the safeguarding databases for patients/clients.
- Support the maintenance of a safeguarding training and supervision database for practitioners.
- To provide data relating to 0-19 safeguarding activity to both the safeguarding and PHN managers as and when required
- To undertake work processing of letters, reports and other documents and information using IT systems, such as Cerner, EMIS and Microsoft Office programmes as required.
