Consultant in Emergency Medicine 10 Programmed Activities (less than full time working is negotiable)

We are looking to welcome two new ED Consultant colleagues to our existing dynamic, well-motivated ED team. The successful candidate will join a forward thinking department that is presently staffed by 14 consultants (not all work full-time and participate in the on-call rota), 18 Registrar grade doctors (ST4+ or equivalent), 18 CT1-3's or equivalent, 12 FY2 doctors and 3 FY1 doctors.
The successful candidate will work across all areas of the department, majors, resus, paediatric ED and the Urgent Treatment Centre, that is run by the Trust. The on call commitment covers the whole ED, so candidates must be trained in both adult and paediatric Emergency Medicine. Whilst this is a general ED Consultant post we welcome applications from colleagues who are PEM trained and dedicated DCC time in our Paeditric Emergency Department is negotiable.

About us
