Job summary
Experienced and well organised office assistant to contribute to the smooth running of the Podiatry Service. You will be working with the Service Administrator, Allied Health professionals, and other Clerical Officers to provide a co-ordinated, efficient and effective clerical and administrative frontline service.
Main duties of the job
Clerical Officer - Podiatry Service (Band 2)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer within Community Integrated Adult Services. The role is demanding and interesting and will require someone who is flexible and able to work under pressure and deal with a variety of tasks. The post holder will work alongside the Service Administrator and Administration Staff in the Podiatry Dept.
If you are enthusiastic, have good IT skills and enjoy working in a busy environment then this is the position for you.
We are a friendly team, who would welcome the opportunity to work with a new member of staff willing to contribute to the ongoing development of the services we provide.
- To provide an efficient clerical support that will facilitate the smooth running of the Podiatry service.
- To be the first line of contact for our patients, other visitors and staff from our front office
- To be involved in the maintenance of all Podiatry systems
- To help manage our referral processes including our waiting lists and data entry
- To answer incoming calls, booking computerised appointments, dealing with patient queries
