SW London Pulmonary Rehab Project Manager Band 7 1.0WTE (37.5 hours)

1 year fixed term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Project Manager across SW London within the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme. Funding has been made available to support the development of Pulmonary Rehabilitation National accreditation across SWL with the aims of achieving the NHS Long Term Plan objectives. The purpose of this role is to provide flexible and high-quality business and project support across a number of workstreams within the South West London Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme, which comprises of 6 services (Croydon, Sutton, Kingston, Wandsworth, Merton and Richmond.)

We are seeking inspiring individuals who understand and are keen to further develop their expertise and knowledge in project management methodologies.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with colleagues across the SW London PR programme and in accordance with the priorities of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Working Group the postholder will be expected to:

  • provide project management support to PR services to provide evidence that they meet national PR accreditation standards.
  • provide project administration and project management support to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation working group
  • coordinate activities to support project working groups and report to the Respiratory Clinical Network
  • support service managers with project reporting and ensuring deadlines are met
  • actively engage and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across SWL
  • The post holder will need to be organised in work and in time management, with excellent attention to detail and able to adapt to changing programme requirements. The post holder will be a reliable team player.
  • The post holder is specifically required to work in a proactive manner, identifying problems and proposing solutions and alternative courses of action. The post holder will be required to undertake additional duties as requested, including various ad-hoc administrative duties

  • Knowledge of leading change projects.
  • Experience of providing support and input into complex programmes.
  • Experience in supporting manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
