Job summary

The post must be able to provide an high level, professional and confidential administrative/secretarial support function to the Associate Director of Operations and Associate Director of Nursing of the Directorate's team. The emphasis will be on delivering efficient and effective operational management and administrative systems. Deliver reliable and accurate information to support the directorate's functions; support and implement management decisions. Deal with complex issues with respect to information and performance. Provide day to day operational management. Working unsupervised using own initiative to support the Directorate.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support for monthly Directorate and department meetings and service meetings, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring that action points are implemented.To support the directorate senior management in delivering quality services that meet established standards, that are continuously monitored and upgraded to meet patient and user needs and expectations in line with the Trust's objectives and targets.
