We are looking for a compassionate, inclusive clinician who shares our values and is committed to delivering outstanding care.
Thisnewly created postoffers a unique opportunity to lead within thecommunication clinic pathway, focusing on theassessment and diagnosis of social communication disorders in children under five. You will play a pivotal role in shaping early intervention and improving outcomes for young children and their families.
You'll be joining at atransformational time, as we redesign our clinical pathways toreduce waiting timesandenhance patient experience. Your expertise will directly contribute to service innovation and improved access to care.

Main duties of the job
This is a new post with a special interest in the communication clinic pathway with assessments of children with social communication disorders. This role will have alead within the communication clinic for diagnosis for the under 5-year-old group.There is no overnight commitment. The postholders will contribute to the daytime child protection rota, but there is no expectation to contribute to Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) medicals.The postholder will join a team of 9 Consultant Community Paediatricians, 2 community SAS doctors and one Speciality Doctor. Senior therapists and clinical nurse specialist also contribute to assessments and care for young people.
