Specialist Dietitian for Oncology (Lung) and Respiratory
This exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in providing specialist dietetic care within a Multidisciplinary team for Lung Oncology and Respiratory patients. You will manage an outpatient clinic and provide Dietetic input for our Respiratory ward patients, ensuringoptimal nutritional care for a complex and high-needs patient group. This will allow you to develop and expand your enteral feeding skills and experience.
Due to the cross-over of ventilated patients in ICU and the Respiratory ward, this role will have an aspect of secondary cover for ICU. This will be an opportunity to practice your existing skills, or be supported to develop new ICU skills, gaining experience in this area with support of the ICU Dietetic Lead.
This is a part-time (2 days a week) role that will work closely with another Respiratory Dietitian colleague and the Oncology Dietetic Lead. You will receive support from our Dietetic Assistant, Department Administrator, as well as the wider Dietetic team.
