We are looking for a senior staff nurse (Band 6) to join our Frailty admission team for Older adult at Lewisham hospital site -Aspen ward
We are looking for an individual who is passionate, self-motivated, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic about the care of elderly patients, who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the best of care by the best people, and who has the drive to take us forward.
The successful candidates will have responsibility for providing leadership to the team ensuring that care standards are monitored and maintained at the highest level as well as working collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a quality service for elderly patients with the support of the Ward Manager and Matron.
As a deputy ward manager, you will have proven organizational and management skills and will be able to motivate and effectively lead the ward team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will be a clinical role model and have a willingness to develop the team as well as your own professional growth
You will be supported to:
Develop and enhance your leadership and management experience and skills.
Ongoing support and development will be provided to enable you to achieve your full potential through ward manager, matron and PDN support, Academic courses, Study Day and Appraisal.
Must have at least 18 months Band 5 experience in acute medicine or care of the elderly setting
