Job responsibilities

The Department of Womens Health Services provides a comprehensive Obstetricsand Gynaecology service rated Good by Care Quality Commissioners for local residents. In addition to the full range of general services there are also a number of established subspecialty activities in the fields of Fetal Medicine, Minimal Access Surgery, Gynaecological Endocrinology and Gynaecological Oncology.

All theatres are well equipped with minimal access operating systems in newly refurbished operating theatres. The Gynaecological services has well established minimal access surgical team across the trust providing expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgeries
