Main duties of the job
Working with our chosen provider partner and key stakeholders, programme manage the EBMS change project across the strategic, frontline and support functions, driving progress & engagement, and delivering stated outcomes
Work with partners and stakeholders and ensure that they are fully engaged in the development of the programme and end-users are aligned and understand the role that the change will bring
Ensure that risks are identified and mitigations implemented, with appropriate escalation to the Programme Director
Produce regular highlight reports as required within agreed timescales and present as required to agreed meetings and stakeholders
Oversee the development of materials pertaining to the EBMS and ensure that communication and training is deployed against the agreed timeline to reach key delivery milestones
Work collaboratively to develop innovative and workable solutions to highly complex problems and challenges to ensure that the programme remains on-track and meets required milestones.
Work with stakeholders to set out key performance indicators and benefit realisation from the outset (both quantitative and qualitative)
Develop and secure agreement from stakeholders on project principles and ways of working to achieve delivery of the project
Chair delegated workstreams and facilitation for project meetings and related events as required

The post holder will report to the Programme Director to project manage the operational implementation of the new Electronic Bed Management System EBMS consisting of hospital site based Command centres and Careview whiteboards across all wards and departments at the Trust
Accountable for the day-to-day management of the programme, delivering improved flow and management of both hospital sites.
Ensure that key milestones are met, and programme delivery remains in line with agreed deployment timelines
Deputise for the Programme Director as required to maintain consistency and oversight of the programme and required milestones
To deploy two command centres across Lewisham and Woolwich sites and the department whiteboards Careview system, providing seamless real-time patient flow information to staff, whilst delivering significant benefits to patient and staff
The post holder will engage and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including the IT project manager, clinical and non-clinical staff, patients and trust partners in the design and delivery of each project stage.
The post holder will use a broad range of skills to implement the EBMS and ensure that the stated benefits, including financial, are delivered

- Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
- Evidence of continued professional development
Experience & Knowledge

- Demonstrated experience of co- ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
- Demonstrated evidence of delivering multi-site project in the NHS
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment
- Experience of managing risks and reporting;
- Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior audience;
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes;
- Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment
- Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Financial Systems e.g. monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement
