Job summary
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Deputy Head of Security and Local Security Manager Specialist (Band 7) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of LGT.
In strict accordance with NHS guidelines and statutory legislation, the successful candidate will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to developing, reviewing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and training programmes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for analysing security incidents, conducting trend analysis and proposing tailored improvement strategies to reduce future security related incidents.
The role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders from Head of Department to external agencies all with the aim of maintaining a secure environment. The dedication to promoting a secure environment, mitigating risks and addressing security related issues is crucial in this role.
