Main duties of the job

Providing administrative support and assistance with the functional processing of bank and agency workers. This will involve end to end support for recruitment; administration; records management; and supporting service delivery and quality outcomes within a cost effective, quality and customer focused environment. Also, as part of a large operational team, administration support of all Temporary Staffing functional elements.

Accountable to Operations Manager of Temporary Staffing

Job Summary:

To support the Temporary Staffing Team in delivering an effective and efficient customer focused service. This includes providing administrative support and assistance with the functional processing of bank and agency workers. This will involve end to end support for recruitment; administration; records management; and supporting service delivery and quality outcomes within a cost effective, quality and customer focused environment. Also, as part of a large operational team, administration support of all Temporary Staffing functional elements.

Bank/Agency administration

Key Result Areas & Performance:

Operational Delivery

Support colleagues in the recruitment management process, including supporting administration of information and activity related to assessments and pre-employment checks and on boarding process.

Invoice validation and coding

Use Temporary Worker Management Systems (Healthroster, Bankstaff, NHS Jobs and ESR). Undertake daily housekeeping/data entry activities; as requested by the Temporary Staffing Team Leader.

Manage all telephone and face to face enquiries promptly and efficiently, providing effective advice or escalating as appropriate.

Provide support for ad hoc campaigns, projects and initiatives which the Bank Team may be involved in.

You will also be required to undertake professional development and training as directed, and to support colleagues, peers, and customers in the acquisition and development of competence within the scope of responsibility of this role.

Support all areas of Temporary Staffing Co-ordination and Administration

Liaise with staff at all levels of the Trust.

Ensure demand controls are adhered to.

Maintain reliable and accurate records and ensure Database information is updated when required.

Prioritise daily workload ensuring all deadlines are met.

Ensure accurate and up to date records are kept of all information that will be required by the Temporary Staffing Manager for report/audit purposes.

Be prepared to be seated for frequent prolonged periods.

To apply best practice to long periods of VDU use.

To work as part of the wider team, but also independently using your own initiative.

Able to remain calm in stressful or confrontational situations, which are common place within this very busy environment
