Come and join our dynamic, enthusiastic and well established Paediatric Team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich. We have exciting vacancies for Registered Nurses at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich on our inpatient ward.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care with opportunities to increase your skills, knowledge and experience. You must possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. We aim for our new team members to develop and take an active role in helping to make improvements on the unit and most importantly, to the care given to our patients.
Supported by the Practice Development team, you will receive a thorough induction and a tailored orientation programme, as well as a period of supernumerary practice. All newly qualified nurses will be offered our accredited preceptorship programme. Continuing professional development and post-registration education is actively encouraged through the provision of in-house study days and courses at the local universities to help build your nursing career.
About us
Our Children and Young People inpatient service consists of Safari Ward, a 24 bedded unit providing care for children and young people up to the age of 16 requiring both medical and surgical treatment. As part of the unit we have a paediatric oncology shared care unit. The inpatient ward also play a pivotal role in supporting effective patient pathways in collaboration with our busy Paediatric Accident and Emergency departments and Paediatric Assessment Unit (Hippo).
