Clinical Research Nurse - Band 6 - HIV Research
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the HIV Research Team at the Harrison Wing, Guy's and St Thomas Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support the HIV Clinical Trials team, helping to expand our portfolio of HIV studies, by linking closely with our outpatient HIV service.
You will coordinate various clinical trials and research projects. This includes recruiting participants into clinical trials/research studies, data collection and cleaning, managing patient care, and Site File maintenance. Experience working in HIV/Sexual Health, or research will be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have worked in an NHS setting and have knowledge of Good Clinical Practice as it relates to Research. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will possess good timekeeping and prioritisation skills and be willing to learn and develop within the role.

The candidate will be joining a dynamic, hardworking and supportive team of research nurses, coordinators and clinical investigators, covering novel and exciting clinical research trials. You will be working alongside leaders in the field of HIV Research and will have close links with academics through Kings College London (KCL).
