About us

Our Trust values

Our Trust values define who we are as an organisation and help shape our culture. They guide us in all our behaviours, actions and interactions which underpin how we do things.

These values were developed with the input of almost 1,800 colleagues. This has ensured that that they reflect what has changed both in our organisation and the wider world, and that they express what we want to be like, both now and in the future.

Whether you work at Guy's Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital, Evelina London Children's Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital, Harefield Hospital, our off-site offices, or in our community services in Lambeth or Southwark, our values are relevant to you.

The values were launched in 2024, at the same time as our Trust strategy. The strategy sets out 'what' we will do, the values are the 'how' we will do it.

Our values...

Caring - we put patients first

Ambitious - we innovate and strive for excellence

Inclusive - we respect each other and work collaboratively
