Senior Clinical Fellow in Respiratory Transplant

Job summary

This is a registrar-level post in transplant medicine for a respiratory physician; the successful applicants will join a dynamic team with an international reputation. The Harefield hospital is a specialist cardiothoracic Centre that with services including interventional cardiology, thoracic and cardiac surgery.

The post holders will undertake an active role in inpatient care and participate in outpatient clinics as well as the EWTD-compliant on-call rota. They will gain experience in assessment and management of end-stage lung disease, intensive care, post-operative rehabilitation, immunosuppression, assessment and management of opportunistic infections, interventional bronchoscopy as well as team training using the simulation training facility in the StaR post-graduate centre at Harefield.

The Specialist Registrar will be actively involved in the teaching CMT trainees and multidisciplinary teaching sessions, including Simulation Technology enhanced learning.
