About us
Evelina London Children's Healthcare (ELCH) is the second largest provider of acute (hospital) children's services in London. We provide children's hospital services (secondary acute services) to the local area and an almost comprehensive portfolio of tertiary services (we take referrals from other healthcare organisations such as local or district hospitals) to south London and southeast England. We also provide specialist and universal children's community services to the communities in Lambeth and Southwark.
On 1st February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust - a truly once in a generation development. Together, we are taking our first steps towards our vision of creating a brand-new centre of excellence that will be the global leader in the research into and treatment of heart and lung disease in patients from pre-birth to old age.
The post will be based at the Evelina Children's Hospital and the paediatric cardiology ward at St Thomas Hospital at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust. However, it is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.
