SEL Respiratory Programme Manager

Job summary

The post-holder will work as a programme manager within the SEL ICS Respiratory Network with a particular focus on supporting and leading on improvements in key respiratory workstreams covering: Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Community Diagnostics, Medicines Optimisation, Oxygen therapy and Asthma care. The Network is comprised of clinical and commissioning stakeholders from across the health system and are responsible for leading the development and improvement of respiratory care across South East London.

Main duties of the job

The SEL Respiratory Programme Manager will lead on projects and strategies for respiratory care, focusing on improving patient pathways, managing innovation, optimising treatments (like oxygen therapy, pulmonary rehab, medicines), and collaborating across primary/secondary care, requiring strong project management skills and clinical knowledge (respiratory/long-term conditions).

The role will coordinate and support the work of the SEL Respiratory Clinical Network delivering on the following priorities: Accurate and Timely Diagnosis, Medicines optimisation and sustainability, Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) and Evidence based oxygen therapy.
