Main duties of the job

The post holder will have lead responsibilityfor the operational management of Clinical Governance/Risk Management to enable safe, effective practice and service delivery within Maternity.

  • The post holder will lead on the day to day delivery of effective clinical governance within the maternity services, in collaboration with the Womens Health MDT Team and the Head of Patient Safety and Quality, Evelina London.
  • Responsibility for co-coordinating the day to day Maternity Clinical Governance and Risk Management,
  • Provide specialist support and leadership to staff with regard to Risk Management and Clinical Governance.
  • To be highly visible, accessible and approachable leader to staff, patients, carers, families and to thepublic, ensuring that open channels of communication are created and sustained, always aiming toimprove quality and the patient experience
