Job summary
We are looking for a committed Highly Specialist Pharmacist with excellent paediatric, pharmaceutical and Paediatric Nutrition skills for a fixed term position at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. The successful applicant will be working with a team of highly motivated and experienced pharmacists and technicians providing patient-centred pharmaceutical care to paediatric patients.
Main duties of the job
To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services within ELCH to the Paediatric Nutrition service in accordance with the objectives set by the Clinical Lead Pharmacist. To act as a role model in the paediatric nutrition pharmacy fields. To provide a consistently high pharmaceutical service in line with GSTFT corporate objectives and NHS Plan.
To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate the processes for approval, appropriate use and audit of high cost medicines commissioned by NHS England (NHSE) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's) in accordance with the objectives set by the Paediatric Clinical lead Pharmacist.
