Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing

As the Business Support Manager in the Population Health Hub, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, strategically, and in alignment with our mission. Your work will support innovation, efficiency, and team cohesion in a fast-evolving environment.

You will be:

  • Supporting the PHH Management Team in delivering Trust and NHS priorities, and leading on internal service improvements.
  • Providing high-level business and operational support to the PHH leadership team.
  • Continuously reviewing and refining administrative processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leading on planning and performance tracking to inform and support strategic decision-making for the PHH
  • Supporting delivery of key projects and initiatives, working closely with stakeholders
  • Co-designing and implementing onboarding processes and team support systems.
  • Providing Secretariat and PA support to senior team members.
  • Coordinating data collection for the PHH, supporting analysis and reporting to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Championing continuous improvement and service innovation across the team.
  • Contributing to internal and external communications to showcase the work of the PHH.
  • Supporting financial monitoring and helping ensure optimal use of resources.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • GCSE or equivalent in maths and English

Previous experience

  • Proven experience of managing a busy office or as a senior administrator with a significant level of responsibility.
  • Proven practical experience of setting up and maintaining effective and efficient workflow and administrative systems
  • Previous Project management experience
  • Previous demonstrable experience of data collection, presentation and report writing

Desirable

  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Experience of financial and budget management including handling petty cash, bank reconciliation and producing financial reports
