An opportunity has arisen within the Royal Brompton Cardiorespiratory Clinical Research Facility for a part-time band 6 cardiovascular research nurse post. You will work on a portfolio of research studies specialising in cardiac electrophysiology studies.
Main duties of the job
Key job activities will include screening, recruitment, and consenting of eligible patients, arranging clinical assessments of trial participants, data collection and entry, randomisation and organisation of day to day trial activities. This role will involve extensive liaison with both internal and external clinical and research staff and requires attention to detail and a proactive approach.
