Caring for patients over the age 65 with both complex medical and socialneeds. We have a fantastic multi-disciplinary team who all help us provide quality patient centred care.

Main duties of the job

The Ward Sister/Charge Nurse's key responsibility is to ensure that the patient experience is of the highest quality inspiring patient and publicconfidence. This will be achieved through high visibility, accessibility and surveillance. In collaboration with the Matron and members of the SeniorNursing Team, the post holder will be closely involved in the planning, delivery and implementation of patient care.Through strong clinical leadership the post holder will support the team to promote excellence in nursing care, maintaining and improving clinicalstandards. The post holder will ensure that all patients are treated with compassion, dignity and respect. He / she will promote best practice in theprevention of infection through ensuring a clean and safe environment.
