Job summary
Job summary:
- To provide and maintain excellent standards of nursing care to an allocated group of patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- To carry out care and treatment tasks, delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a wide range of technical ability, numeracy and literacy skills as well as an excellent level of interpersonal skills.
- To supervise, less experienced/new Health Care Assistants in the clinical area ensuring patient focused care is provided.
- To provide any administrative and clerical support to the ward team.
- To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any areas specified.
- Care Certificate or equivalent required.
- NVQ 3 or equivalent
