An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen in the Urology Centre for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team of expert andinnovative Urologists, CNSs, nurses and researchers.This position will help you to build knowledge and to develop the experience and skills in order for you to further your career within Urology. Weare a busy unit with a worldwide reputation. In this role you will support the clinicians, carry out a range of diagnostic procedures and run nurselead clinics.We are seeking a nurse with vision and dedication, who has nursing experience with particular expertise in urology.If you are a hard working, patient focused, good team-player with a professional approach to interdisciplinary working, we would like to hear fromyou.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning andprovision of specialist nursing advice and carry out specialist nursingprocedures.They will be required to support the team in the smooth running of all clinics and to maintain a safe working environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and teaching junior colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
