Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine (advanced heart failure, transplantation and mechanical circulatory support) to be based primarily at the Harefield Hospital site.

The successful candidate will carry out an epidemiological study related to advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and left ventricular assist devices.

It is hoped the project will form the successful candidates work towards obtaining an MD or PhD.

The funding is secured for the successful candidate who will be expected to work towards an MD/PhD (tuition fees to be funded by the candidate).

The contract duration is 1 year with a possibility of an extension for up to 2 years by mutual consent - with start date of around November 2024 .
