Job summary
Juniper is 20 bedded private patients ward that includes 4 high dependency beds. The ward cares for transplant, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgical patients allowing you to gain experience within this speciality.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who will support our nursing team in meeting all patient's needs. The job will involve flexible working including nights and weekends. This post requires a positive and committed person who enjoys helping others. If you think this is you, we would love to hear from you.
You will also benefit from excellent training and developmental opportunities with superb support from a dedicated ward team and a Practice Educator. Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain excellent standards of nursing care to allocated group of patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
To carry out care and treatment tasks, delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a wide range of technical ability, numeracy and literacy skills as well as an excellent level of interpersonal skills.
To supervise, less experienced/new Health Care Assistants in the clinical area ensuring patient focused care is provided.
To provide any administrative and clerical support to the ward team.
To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any areas specified.
