Job summary
This is a full time ENT consultant post with a special interest in Otology. The post holder will also be expected to carry out some general ENT surgery. This post is a fixed term cover post to support the current focus on the Otology and General ENT long wait position.
The post will be based at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. Work is also carried out at King's College Hospital, and it is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service
To take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training, and to contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development.
To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Main duties of the job
The post holder must be medically /dentally qualified and maintain GMC or GDC specialist registration and hold a license to practice.
To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the role.
To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care programmed.
To ensure patients are involved in decisions about their care and to respond to their views.

Essential
