An exciting opportunity has emerged for Band 6 Nurses/ ODP's at Lambeth Theatres. In this role you will play a crucial part in shaping the Theatres Anaesthetics and Perioperative retention strategy and will have an opportunity to excel in professional development, leadership and management. We work collaboratively with Tower, Guys Main and North Wing Theatres.

Main duties of the job

- Attending theatre scheduling meetings
- Assisting with staff rostering, allocation and ensuring adequate skill mix
- Possess clinical expertise in Anaesthetic/ recovery/ scrub/ surgical admission and Nurse- Led Discharge
- Assisting with Incident report and complaint investigation
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team
- Address staffing and clinical concerns by escalating them appropriately

The clinical area also supports a surgical admissions area and post-operative second stage recovery for day case procedures. Lambeth Theatres comprises of 6 operating theatres, The clinical area also supports a surgical admissions area and post-operative second stage recovery for day case procedures. The clinical areas works in collaboration with Main Theatres to support patient discharges where appropriate. Nuffield Theatres supports a new surgical admission lounge, two new modular theatres and an 8 bedded recovery unit.
