Job summary

Make patient appointments in person or on the telephone and understand the necessary preparation needed for scans.

Cover reception and welcome patients to the department, check appointment details, inform clinical staff of patient arrival and direct patients as required. Check patients in on EPIC system.

Enter appointments on the EPIC system, enter on the waiting list and send appointment letters (CT, MR, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy)

Provide patients with appropriate information relating to their hospital visit.

Process Ward requests for X-ray department procedures (CT, MR, ultrasound, fluoroscopy)

To arrange transport for patients when required.

Ensure that all requests for procedures are authorised by the appropriate Medical or Professional Staff.

Processing private patient forms and escorting patients to Private Patient Office when required.

Photocopying as required
