Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 3 Patient Access Officer within the Referral Management Centre at Guy's and St ThomasNHS Foundation Trust.This is an exciting role where the post holder will join an established team which provides referral management trust wide and will work from both theGuy's and the St Thomas sites.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. The successfulcandidate will have the ability to prioritise, organise and work flexibly in order to meet targets and adapt to changing workloads.Experience within the NHS is desirable and the role offers training, support and good opportunities for development.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 3 or relevant equivalent experience

Desirable

  • IT package qualification / training such as the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Experience

Essential

  • Previous demonstrable experience of data collection and data quality skills
  • Previous experience of ASI processing
  • Experience of working with confidential documents and information

Desirable

  • Understanding and experience of Trust hospital systems ie: Epic, SCR
  • Pathway management experience

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a methodical manner
