Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and holistic Physiotherapist to join our Community Neuro Rehab Team based across Lambeth and Southwark.

We are a multi-disciplinary service consisting of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehab Assistants, Clinical Psychologists, Rehab Consultants and Social Workers, who provide a combination of early intensive rehabilitation, long term condition management, crisis intervention and end of life care.

We support clients with neurological conditions to engage in meaningful activities to optimise their quality of life throughout the span of their condition. Intervention is person centred and we utilise self-management approaches to empower patients to actively participate in their therapy and rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should have clinical experience in neurorehabilitation, ideally with some previous experience working within the community. This post is ideal for a current Band 6 Neuro Physiotherapist seeking a new challenge, or experienced Band 5 ready to progress into a Band 6 role. The post holder will value the opportunity to provide rehabilitation to clients in their own environment, and will embrace creativity in their approach to rehab through technology, problem solving and multi-disciplinary working.

The post is predominantly covering the diverse borough of Lambeth, and utilises agile working to ensure that we can deliver services flexibly and effectively across the Lambeth and Southwark boroughs when needed. All staff are provided with mobile devices, and work-related travel is reimbursed. We support both clinical and leadership development of our staff through regular supervision, professional development opportunities and through engagement with service development.

This is a static post within the Neuro Rehab Team, allowing the successful applicant to develop their knowledge of local services and have an active role in service development.
