We are pleased to offer a six-month fixed term opportunity for a Senior Diversity Project Manager. This role has been created to deliver three key projects as part our, GSTT Charity funded, Anti-Racism programme of work. The three projects in scope include:

  • An end to end review of the GSTT recruitment process through the lens of bias and candidate experience
  • To take forward a review of the Just Culture Restorative approach and integrating this approach in a range of HR policies and processes
  • To scope the research required to baseline the current reputation of the Trust as the 'Employer of Choice' within Lambeth, Southwark and other London Boroughs. Leading into the development of an attraction strategy.

This post will be based in the People Directorate reporting on a day to day basis to the Deputy Chief People Officer, but responsible to the Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

We will be looking to interview week commencing 13th November 2023

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will develop and lead the direction and delivery of the project work streams, and support and enable senior managers, clinicians, partners and directors.
  • A key aspect of the role will be to ensure appropriate evaluation and metrics are in place to support impact monitoring and milestone achievement of the above projects.
  • The role is expected to provide leadership directly and indirectly for project management and support and identity resources needed to enable project delivery where necessary.
  • The post holder will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of interdependencies and delivery of objectives

  • Lead or support the production of project plans that deliver agreed milestones and objectives.
  • Lead project management training and model practices to both internal staff members and external stakeholders and partners.
