About us
Neonatal Care in England is organised into Networks. Networks coordinate care across multiple pathways and geographies to ensure access to high quality specialist services. The London Neonatal Critical Care Network is a disease specific organisation, mandated in 2014 by NHS England to improve outcomes for neonates in London.
London has the highest birth rate nationally and one of the most diverse and complex population groups in the U.K. These challenges present an opportunity to support organisations, clinicians and parents by providing access to specialist resources and expertise, coordinating patient pathways and developing evidence-based guidance to standardise practice.
The network works closely with NHS England and Improvement and brings together specialist neonatal providers and healthcare professionals, Neonatal Service Users and their families to operationalise national policy across complex pathways of care to improve patient care and experience, and help shape future services in the capital.
The London Neonatal Critical Care Network is hosted by the Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of the Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
