Job summary

Our world renowned cardio-respiratory centre, the Royal Brompton Hospital, is looking to appoint an experienced administrator to the position of medical secretary within our paediatric cardiology service.

The successful candidate will be part of our 15-strong administrative team which provides comprehensive administrative support to medical, nursing and operational colleagues within the service. This includes handling the correspondence of given individuals or a team, recording patient information / documentation on our clinical information systems and liaising with patients and their families with regards to their care.

Paediatric cardiology services at the Royal Brompton are delivered by our Evelina London Women's and Children's Clinical Group. As well as being part of a site-specific team, this role comes with the opportunity to work as part of a larger cross-site team with the associated learning and support opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working the health and care sector with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to our service users.
