Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning and provision of specialist nursing advice and carries out specialist nursing procedures. The post holder will provide clinical supervision to other staff, students and may undertake research, lead clinical audits in own specialist area. Ensuring the safety and well being of services users, and always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.

This post is a part-time post of 3 days per week, Consideration will be given to full-time position with additional 2 days in our haematology day unit.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) team of highly specialist haematology nurses. We are seeking a nurse that is eager to develop their clinical skills and competence and want to be future leaders within haematology.

You will have the opportunity to further develop and enhance your skills within a haemato-oncology setting with the support and training necessary.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong desire to deliver the best individualized care to patients living with MPN by working as an effective part of the nursing and wider team.

The successful candidate will need experience in haematology and will be committed to developing their skills, knowledge, and leadership in a fast paced setting.
