Job summary
Are you passionate about innovation, project management, addressing inequalities and leading on change to improve health and care outcomes for London? DigitalHealth.London is looking for an NHS Navigator to provide bespoke support and advice to digital health companies looking to crack the NHS market.
You'll be uniquely positioned to learn about and influence the adoption of digital technologies within the NHS, for the benefit of patients and the system. From making introductions to key NHS decision makers to attending business strategy meetings with your mentee companies, no two days are the same as an NHS Navigator.
The small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who are participating in our programmes will be looking for assistance to develop and market their products. The support will help the SMEs understand demand, test innovations from an early stage, and bring new products and processes to market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a growing team that have supported companies like accuRx, DrDoctor, LIVI and Patchwork Health.
Main duties of the job
You will support the variety of programmes that DigitalHealth.London offers with your knowledge and experience
You'll support companies to test the value proposition for their innovations, products and processes to benefit the NHS; providing one-to-one guidance through the process of getting NHS-ready
You'll coordinate the delivery of workshops, one-to-ones, and bespoke advice from digital health consultants, partners, and other experts for your digital health companies
Acting as a relationship manager between digital health companies and London's NHS and care system, you'll support stakeholder engagement and provide an honest NHS perspective to innovators
You'll provide written reports on project progress, monitor risks and issues, and design management plans for each company you work with

The DigitalHealth.London team is hosted by the Health Innovation Network (HIN). The HIN is hosted by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The main purpose of this post is to manage and deliver the objectives of theDigitalHealth.London programmes which include the Accelerator, The Launchpad, The Evidence Generator and the Digital Pioneer Fellowship and any other programmes providing innovator support. These programmes are delivered at scale across London. The overall aim is to engage meaningfully with healthcare organisations, patients/Londoners and health tech SMEs to enable digital transformation, benefiting staff and patients, saving taxpayers money and facilitating economic growth. Each navigator gives bespoke support to a subset of SMEs, helping them to hone their business to get NHS scale ready, open doors and obtain an honest NHS perspective. Performance management of work streams will be keyand focussed on delivering programme metrics, as well as those associated with other core programmes. This will involve providing written reports on project progress, monitoring risks and issues and designing a support plan for each SME. The postholder will act as an ambassador for the programme, attending, organising and leading relevant programme meetings and representing the programme at external events.

- Educated to first Degree or significant experience as manager in the NHS at Band 7 (or equivalent) or above
- Evidence of Master's degree, or other post graduate qualifications, or equivalent by virtue of experience.

- Knowledge and experience of using and applying service improvement techniques e.g. Lean and patient flow, the productive series, pathway process redesign and PDSA cycles.
