Main duties of the job
The role will focus mainly on delivery of the Medicines Information and Advice services to a wide range of service users at a local, regional and national level. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of exiting new ways of working. You will be a key team member and a role model for the trainee and junior pharmacists during their rotations as well as contributing and delivering teaching and training programmes.
You will contribute to patient safety initiatives and will work with clinical pharmacy colleagues and the pharmacy clinical governance team to support and optimise the safe and effective use of medicines both within the Trust and for the wider healthcare service users.
You will have:
- Experience of working in Medicines Information
- Experience of supervising tutoring, and mentoring
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexibly
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Good leadership skills with a willingness to innovate and adapt to service needs and requests
