Job description

Job responsibilities

For more details of the role please look at the job description and person specification attached, as well as SCAS Values and other attachments on this advert.

There is a high level of trauma cases in the North East node (Wexham and High Wycombe) due to the busy road networks (with one of the busiest road junctions in Europe) and a lot of country lanes. We could offer you a chance to develop and gain experience in a wide variety of work, along with opportunities to develop clinical decision making, as there are a number of hospital options to consider when managing your patients, including two Major Trauma Centres, as well as several cardiac and stroke centres. The NE node is a welcoming, friendly area. With close links to London, this area could offer you what you are looking for!

We can also help support and fund the C1 practical for you but ask that you have your provisional C1 entitlement on your licence when you apply, and that you have completed your theory and hazard perception tests during the recruitment process.

Applicants who move home as a result of taking up employment with SCAS, may be eligible for assistance with relocation costs and we can offer you up to the sum of £8,000. Relocation expenses will be reimbursed in line with the Trust's relocation policy; further information is available upon request.
