Job summary

Exciting opportunities have arisen for staff looking to progress their career and become a Clinical Team Educator in the South East area of SCAS at North Harbour Resource Resource Centre.

The Clinical Team Educator role is a pivotal position in the development of the area's existing operational staff of all grades and visiting students, being responsible for their clinical supervision and professional development while liaising and working alongside the Education Department. You will become a key player as part of the area management team that will help to demonstrate and champion the behaviors linked to the key values of: Team Working, Caring, Innovation and Professionalism.

We are recruiting 7 successful candidates that will be filling, 1 permanent position and 6 forthcoming vacancies.

Main duties of the job

You will be qualified as a HCPC Registered Paramedic, working at Band 6 level, or NMC Nurse. Hold a IHCD or FutureQuals Emergency Response Driving qualificationand will have completed a HEI accredited mentorship module (QCF Level 5/6) or equivalentexperience.

You must be a team player, accept responsibility and be a confident decision maker. You must be passionate in the development of newly trained staff and the maintenance of excellent standards. You will possess good interpersonal and communications skills. You will need to be competent in basic IT and capable of logical thinking, practical problem-solving, objective assessment skills and report writing. You must also be able to motivate and support others.

All applicants for this position will be required to undergo a competitive selection process involving a clinical assessment followed by a panel interview.

Assessments will take place on a date to be confirmed at the Education and Recruitment Centre in Bone Lane, Newbury.

If you have successfully passed a CTE Sim assessment within 6 months of the interview date, you will not be required to complete this again. Please ensure you inform the recruitment officer of this when you are shortlisted.

Candidates who successfully pass the assessments will then be invited for interview - date to be confirmed.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any alternative dates for assessments or interviews.

Note: you will need to meet the essential criteria as a minimum in order for your application to be shortlisted. You must have completed your Consolidation of Learning Portfolio as part of the NQP programme and have demonstrable experience of working as a Paramedic.
