Job summary
The Data Warehouse Developer is a key member of the Digital Data &Technology (DDaT) Development team, adding value for our patientsthrough improving and developing information services across the Trustand wider health and care system.They will ensure the information is an effective component of the Trust'sDigital Data & Technology (DDaT) target operating model, workingalongside others, delivering continuous overall improvement.This role is part of supporting the 'engine room' of DDaT operations,transitioning from outsourced arrangements to an in-house delivery model.The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and developmentof the Data Warehouse and BI architecture including performance,maintainability and scalability along with a secure, governed and wellarchitected data infrastructure.You will act as a technical expert to users both within the department and to other departments around the Trust in the following key areas:o Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)o Data Warehousing Architectureso Microsoft Power BIo Tableauo Exasolo Bedrock Platformo Microsoft AzureThe postholder will deputise for the Data Warehouse Lead, in all areasrelating to support and maintenance of the Data Warehouse and relatedsystems.Previous applicants need not apply.
Main duties of the job
o Support the Data Warehouse Lead: Provide specialist technical support for a range of database applications including SQL Server, Tableau, Exasol, Bedrock Platform, Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, stability, and performance of the data warehouse, responding promptly to system issues and user queries.o Data Warehouse Architecture: Contribute to the design and development of the data warehouse architecture, including new data marts, ETL processes, and database structures, to meet the growing needs of the Trust.
