Job summary
The post holder will works as Senior Nurse Adviser with demonstrable breath of experience in Occupational Health and is responsible for the delivery of client-focused programmes of care. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the needs of the employing organisation are met in a way which addresses the complex and changing health and wellbeing needs of the client group in their workplace. The post holder will support the OH nurse manager in the smooth running of the department on a day to day basis.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of Occupational Health clinic's which focus on case management following referral to the department.
Demonstrates specialist skill and professional knowledge acquired through post registration academic, clinical, leadership and management development. Work as an excellent role model for professional practice.
Demonstrate expert ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a range of clients using an evidence-based and client-centred approach to practice.
To work effectively with employees, their Managers and Human Resources to help facilitate the return to work of staff that have ill health or sickness absence problems through the design and implementation of client focused rehabilitation programmes.

- Up to date knowledge of current statutory regulations and guidance documents
- Experience in delivering clinics via a range of communication methods including on site in person or remote via telephone or video consultation
