Job summary
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our Children's Outpatients Clinic, supporting the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The post holder will work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, assisting nurses and clinicians in providing safe, compassionate care to infants, children, and young people attending a wide range of outpatient appointments. This role requires excellent communication skills, a calm and reassuring approach, and the ability to work effectively with children and families.
You will support clinical activity, help maintain a welcoming and safe environment, and contribute to the smooth running of busy clinics. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organised, and committed to delivering a positive experience for children and their families.
Main duties of the job
The Healthcare Assistant will work under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians to support the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care within a busy Children's Outpatients Clinic.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and organised individual who enjoys working with children and families and is committed to supporting high-quality outpatient care.
