This role coversFront Door Services (Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit and Short Stay Unit), working within a rostered 7-day service to deliver OT services that support patient flow and admission avoidance.

Main duties of the job
- To be a specialist occupational therapist working in the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), within the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital (RBFT).
- To ensure a high quality, effective and efficient occupational therapy service in designated area.
- To participate in the operational management of the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), in conjunction with the advanced specialist front door team and Professional Lead for Occupational Therapy.
- To be a member of the Therapy Department contributing to planning and policy development in these departments.
- To deputise for the advanced specialist front door team as required.
