An exciting opportunity has arisen to expandthe Staff Health and Wellbeing team which sits within the wider Occupational Health and Wellbeing Multidisciplinary Team. The post holder will create, promote and oversee a project to deliver a new staff preventative health programme, including the formation of two distinct HWB support pathways:
1. Diabetes prevention pathway
2. Work-related stress management pathway
As the post is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, emphasis will be placed on creating standard operation procedures (SOPs) and establishing future-proof administrative processes and onward referral pathways in order to embed both pathways into business as usual activities. Additionally, the post-holder will be expected to obtain a high level of engagement with all staff to ensure good utilisation and attendance through both pathways in order to fulfil our obligations with regards achieving outcome measures for the project.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will report to the Staff HWB Lead but will also work closely alongside colleagues from the wider Occupational Health and Wellbeing Multidisciplinary Team.
The post holder willprimarily act as a project lead for the duration of the fixed-term programme, and will also be expected to deliver on aspects of each pathway, including (but not limited to) diabetes testing and result interpretation and the introduction and associated administration involved with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Stress Indicator Toolkit (SIT).
The role requires an individual with an existing level of project management experience who is happy to work independently, and is able to safely and accurately utilise project management methodology in order to deliver clearly defined project outcomes and deliverables both on time and within budget.

Essential
- Registered Nurse (Pt 1/12) OR Post graduate qualification in Health Promotion / Public Health OR similar qualification
- Project/business management qualification (e.g. Project Management Professional PMP, Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship, PRINCE2) OR similar qualification
- Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
Desirable
- Awareness of measurement and diagnosis procedures for type 2 diabetes, including local and national support pathways for diabetes prevention and management
- Awareness of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) domains of work-related stress, as well as standards for managing work-related stress, (e.g. stress risk assessments, stress indicator toolkit etc.)

- Computer literate, including autonomous use of Microsoft programmes (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams etc).
- Demonstrable experience in project management, with a proven track record in successfully achieving and evaluating project outcomes whilst staying within a budget
